Our two travelers explored the mill for what felt like hours. They went back for the exit, but instead were greeted by a tunnel. Instead of light being at the end, it was in fact everywhere; especially the end.
At the end, they saw a forest. They turned around and the tunnel was there no more. Before it disappeared, it looked like this:
